Audi has officially revealed the new generation of the Audi A6 Allroad 2028, as the German company continues to strengthen its presence in the versatile wagon segment that combines luxury, spaciousness, and the ability to handle various driving conditions.

The new Audi A6 features a bolder and more modern exterior design, with Audi utilizing wide fenders that give it a sporty look inspired by the high-performance RS6 Avant. The car is also about 4.3 inches wider than the A6 Avant designed for European markets, giving it a stronger presence and better stability on the road.

Adaptive Suspension Gives 2028 Audi A6 Allroad Better Performance

One of the most notable updates to the new A6 Allroad is the adaptive air suspension system, which provides higher ground clearance compared to the previous generation. The ride height can be adjusted according to different driving conditions, whether on highways or unpaved trails.

The interior features an advanced digital design reflecting Audi's latest technological trends. The car includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, alongside a 14.5-inch central infotainment screen, with the option to add an independent 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger to enhance the in-car user and entertainment experience.

Modern Technologies Enhance 2028 Audi A6 Allroad Driving Experience

Regarding the powertrain, expectations indicate that the version destined for the US market will rely on a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 362 horsepower, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which is the same engine used in the new A6 sedan.

Audi has also made a series of engineering improvements aimed at elevating driving pleasure, including developing the steering system and increasing the rigidity of its components to improve response and precision. The company also worked on enhancing sound insulation inside the cabin through improved insulation materials and noise-insulating side glass.

Audi confirmed that the new A6 Allroad will reach markets in 2027, while initial estimates suggest a potential price increase compared to the current generation, especially with the higher equipment levels and modern technologies the car has received.
